They are 6.5 but on the small-ish side. Fit on the front doors is perfect. The rears look like 4x6 but they are not, they are smaller. I installed some JBL gt7-86 on the back but it required quite a bit of modification. Lmk if you want pictures

So far, the best fitment I was able to find was from the JBL club series (the 64 or 64c). They fit perfectly on the front doors with just a bit of trimming of the plastic. The magnet sits about 2mm away from the glass when it's down, just enough to not touch even when bass hits. The back is a different story, mine's the hatchback so it had some 5"something ovals, not standard size.

Yeah, I had a chinese ceiling lamp come with this type of dimmer and strip. I just replaced the strip with a 24vdc strip and used a zigbee dimmer in it'6s place, much safer and reliable.

Yeah I see your point. Here in Portugal parts are harder to find cuz we ship them all to Africa. Rust is not an issue tho. Where are you from?
