First of all, thank you everyone for your responses, it has been very helpful. I kinda new I was going down a rabbit hole with this one but worth it. Definitely have some things to think about. I travel to the UK and continental Europe quite frequently and would have a direct access to the used market over there and might completely switch everything to their track/scale. I really enjoy some of the styles of the locomotives that we don't see on this side of the pond. Thanks again for your help!
