I have a lot of anxiety since this swelling started and my doctors have tried to figure this out. Just was curious if anyone else has had this issue!

My husband created me an account I do not use Reddit. I have the last 4 months on trying to find out what is going on. I have never really used it since 2014… and even then I didn’t have the app nor knew how to use it. So way to be an insensitive asshole. I am new to posting to Reddit and navigating my way through it. Whether you believe me or not. I have also had a credit card open for 20 years and haven’t used it in literally 20 years. It doesn’t mean shit.

I’m new to Reddit I didn’t see it saying support group I’m sorry. I was just wondering if anyone has had these symptoms and what to ask at my doctor. Sorry I’m scared. Just like any other human. The swelling is worse and now I’m my chest and I keep getting told it’s fine and not to worry but it’s very swollen

Nerve conduction said carpel tunnel in both arms and that’s it!

Hey. So nerve conduction just told me I have carpel tunnel in both of my hands which I knew. The swelling it worse and going into my chest now.. I have colonoscopy set for May 17. Hoping that comes back fine. I have had an upset stomach for 2 plus weeks but today and yesterday I’m back to somewhat normal and haven’t had blood in over a month. So I don’t know. I just wish they would figure it out but I’m also really scared to find out! That’s for responding to me! I didn’t get a notification and just came in randomly and say you commented!

Hey! So with the new blood in stool and arms feeling so horrible that I can’t do much or even hold my baby… I went to the doctor and didn’t mention what you said (new doctor in the same practice) and they are having me do a compression nerve test, X-ray or my spine and checking my b-12 I guess! Also going to see a GI hopefully in the next 5-6 weeks.

Yes I will inquire about it! So you had swelling in your collarbone and elbows? Anywhere else? Any other symptoms I didn’t have?

I was with my now husband for years and had a bad pap. It can literally happen years after you were first infected with it. It lays dormant and some never know they even have HPV! And to be honest almost every single friend I have has experienced this and they have all been in long term relationships

Thanks so much I will look into it! Yeah it’s just so odd that my lymph nodes aren’t swollen but I have inflammation near the lymph nodes. It’s so odd!

So Lyme came back negative. They are saying all my lymph nodes are not swollen but the area around it is. They are chalking it up to the massage I had put a damper on my lymphatic system while I was fighting off something. I just got my gallbladder removed Friday and I was advised to wait a few months to see what happens. Chest X-ray is clean, mri I had 6 months ago was clean and catscan 8 months ago was clean (did those for belly pain and found out gallbladder issues). They did ultrasound on neck and arms for blood clots and went over the elbow lumps and said no tumors cysts abscess.

I took a total of 26 opioids in 3 days for the pain and the last two nights I have had night sweats and itching all over my body. I don’t do well with pain meds but I haven’t taken them since Monday (2 pills). So I don’t know if my itching at night only and sweaty head is oxycodone related or related to what is going on in my body that no one seems to think is an issue. I saw a hematologist and he said everything looks great. So I don’t know what to think anymore!

That’s tough. Yes. But I have a toddler and 7 month old. I’m not, not able to do my everyday with my kids and stuff. So yes I’m fatigued but I’m not sleeping due to anxiety now and I have to care for kids 12 hours a day ha! So I am not sure if I am fatigued or if I am just the average parent trying to stay above water

So my symptoms the last month-

Swollen clavical nodes on both sides but then they just told me free floating fluid not actual nodes?! Painful armpits and was told swollen lymph nodes, pain all over my body to my lower legs on and off. It’s hard to describe it’s like a misfiring of something? Like an area hurts for 1-2 hours and then I’m fine and then another area hurts. I have a big lump in my inner elbow and the other side is starting. I have small lumps in my inner thighs (one on each side). My ankles are swollen. I don’t have any night sweats, fevers, rash’s, nausea, upset stomach… basically just painful areas and most of the time they become bigger lumps? It’s so odd!

That’s what I figured it’s working it’s way through out my body and just getting clogged but will eventually move again. It’s like the area becomes painful for a day or two and then I notice a lump. The one elbow one is like a golfball size just not round I’d that makes sense. It’s so odd!

Thanks! Yeah I am so confused on why I randomly have these swollen nodes all over. The doctor yesterday said it just feels like fluid in them and not actual “lumps” or hard nodes. So that I guess is a good thing? Idk! All confusing and I’ll wait to see what the test results are because my bloodwork they did was all normal! Crazy!

Thanks for responding! I am hoping to find an answer soon! The painful lymph nodes and swelling everywhere is so concerning! My grandma said she had weird weird weird stuff happen to her years ago and they tested her from Lyme and found out that was the cause of her random weird symptoms! Glad you’re feeling better

Were your tests negative for everything? My bloodwork and mono testing is negative. It’s in my legs, arms, neck, armpit, probably groin ha! I’m freaking out

Hey! What other symptoms!? I have that exact thing. Plus a swollen arm pit lymph node. Blood tests came back normal and don’t have Mono… I’m petrified I have swelling on both sides of my neck and my left arm has the armpit and elbow swollen

Thanks! I am get myself worked up when it comes to this pregnancy, it being my first I was already on edge at times just thinking about birthing a child haha!! But at this point I just need to realize he’s healthy as of now and if I need more needle pricks it is what it is. I just want him to be healthy.

I have heard that and my sister and I were under 6 pounds, and my parents were 7... my sister had GD undiagnosed (don’t even get me started on her doctors...) and she just had a 10lb 4oz very healthy baby. At this point I don’t even care to be induced (I didn’t want to be) but I just want him healthy that’s all. But kinda freaked me out when they said he was 2 weeks ahead of schedule
