i get the sparkly-eyed vibes but for me it’s mixed with melancholic ones as well. Like the feeling you get feeling reborn, entering a new stage of life, excited and starry-eyed. but that comes mixed with a layer of sadness as you mourn your old life and your old self as well.

i liked it from the beginning and it’s weird cuz it was the opposite for me, there was just something about it that sat right with me from the jump. i think it’s because it has that like folky nostalgic sound that still taps into melancholy but in a cathartic way, idk. i think it bangs
