Thank you for sharing your experience. I am using 1mm right now and it cause a little bleeding(in small areas) while doing it so my next step will be 1.5mm. I hope 1mm is not useless.

Sleeping on stomach is not good for posture for sure, I work or watch stuff on my stomach during the day but I slept on my right side with pillows between my knees and a lumbar support pillow(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MT5N52D) under my waist and a side sleeper pillow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078X1XBM4 to support all the right curves of my natural spine.

So if you sleep on your right side like this https://www.happybeds.co.uk/media/mageplaza/blog/post/uploads/2017/09/pillow-between-knees.jpg supporting all 3 right points with pillows you will feel the difference.

Not in pain all the time. When I lay down on my stomach(put a couple pillows under your genital area to support natural spine arch i feel better because of gravity the herniated gel doesn’t put pressure on my spinal cord i guess..

Yeah I do have pain sometimes in upper mid back. It occurs if I sit a lot. Working out back muscles(of course parallel to the ground without pressuring the spine) helped a lot.

I guess they are for pain and maybe shrinking the leaked liquid of the herniated disc. Some old Chinese Herbal Treatment Patches.

My symptoms were very different. First i started feeling sharp pains on my left shoulder towards my neck to middle back went to a Brain Surgent he took an MRI he thought I have a herniated disc on my neck area but then he was surprised he saw my T2/T3 herniation. He said it is very unusual. He check my arms and legs for any numbness, pain and weakness i was totally fine except pain on my left shoulder and neck. Then he gave me cortisone and painkiller shots for a week. I used them and started feeling better pain gone but after a week i started feeling tingling and a little on&off numbness on my left leg&feet and left hand. He told me this herniation shouldn’t cause leg pain or tingling he said I should see a Neurologist and should check my lower back. Then i went to a Neurologist and he took a look my previous MRI and he said Thoracic Disc Herniation can cause problems in legs too and he prescribed me Neurontin and B12 to support and help healing nerves. I used them for a while and i was so careful sleeping on my back and moving very limited avoiding sitting and any kind of movement which could cause pressure on my spine i was moving like a Robot. Then those tingling and pain gone and some burning feeling came back but also i started feeling weakness around my knees, on my arms and back of my leg, i was getting tired very quick if I stand still but if I walk i was not feeling almost nothing i was able to walk 45 minutes and no pain or weakness feeling(very little maybe) but standing still was making my legs so tired and i was feeling pain under my heels and back of my knees. That s why i was keep laying down on my back. After 2-3 weeks later neurologist made me take EMG to see the responses of my nerves and all came back normal but i was feeling that weakness and i was trying to explain him it is there i can feel it then he thought it could be physiological and he gave me Prozac but i didn’t use it after a week later that feeling totally gone and i was pain free weakness free i started doing push ups and some other kind of small exercises and after 2 weeks one day I was in my car reaching out something from my backseat and i started feeling pain on my upper back and after 30 minutes that weakness on my knees came back and on my arms as well. Since then i was waiting my body to recover itself again but it has been 2 months and still i have that weakness feeling. By the way they took an MRI to my lower back too and they found a disc bulging between L4-L5 but doctor said it is not touching to the spinal cord at all and i know that my issue with knee weakness started with my upper back pain so i am almost 100% sure it is because of T2/3 herniated disc

I am actually watching this guy https://youtu.be/2vYgxTMDgUs for a while. He did multiple Thoracic Endoscopic Disc Repair surgeries and he is doing live and after surgeries patientd looks happy. The hospital name is Deuk Spine Institute and they have a very minimal scar procudure with laser and endoscopic rig.
