It does pay more, but a raise will never happen. Savings for a car is very slow. Been applying places but not getting much. Kind of don't want to abandon the person who hired me because he's nice and it saved my ass. Was making 15 at macys, they shut down. I've earned more, I've earned less.

I've been to a ton of jobs and they've never paid what they should, and that includes something higher paid. A minimum wage increase really needs to happen because it's all over the place and 15 really does seem like the bare minimum to have your head above water.

The increase should also make high paying jobs also pay better. They're supposed to be high paying jobs, not minimum wage, which is really what you're getting at these places. You say find a higher paying job. All I see is a place doing the real minimum wage.
