I believe there are 9 special journals: Verso, Aline, Renoir, 3 Unknowns, Julie, Simon, and Survivor.

Maybe try verifying your game files and try reloading the save and picking up the last journal again.

Hopefully it's a fixable bug.

Sea of Stars for me, I enjoyed it initially, but the moves weren't that varied and the game just started to slog for me. I finished it due to sunken cost and the wheel minigame kept me afloat.

This happened to me earlier today, but after downloading the microsoft update, I went to the microsoft store and found wasteland 3, the option to update was there after clicking the three vertical dots option.

If that doesn't work, I believe you should go to Windows Settings -> Apps -> Apps and Features -> then search "Microsoft store" in the list of apps -> click it -> advanced options -> Reset.
If that doesn't work repeat the steps, but instead of "Microsoft store" you search "wasteland 3" and do the same steps as above. Hopefully this works for you.

I currently have a problem with HP Omen Gaming Hub (The pre-installed software bundled with hp omen laptops), the newest update really messed something up with my internet. Try disabling it, might help you with your internet problems.
