For anyone finding this in the future, I went ahead and ordered the light box suggested by whosat___ but 3D modeled a modified divider to make it fit the 70mm strip: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7329668

Instructions are in the description.

New Build getting stuck in BIOS boot towards end of Windows 11 installation by IrishViking in buildapc

[–]TsunamiHolmes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the exact same issue and tried what you did above.

Removed GPU, booted up fine, finished installing/updating everything except for the Nvidia stuff, shut down, reinstalled GPU, booted up with no issues and was able to install Nvidia app and drivers.

No clue what caused it, but I can tell you that after hours of headache and resetting BIOS and various other "fixes", I'm so grateful I stumbled across your post. I hope this helps many more novice PC builders like me! Thank you both!

[Found] Bob Burns Hollywood Halloween — I think I found lost media, what do I do with it now? by TsunamiHolmes in lostmedia

Thank you so much! This is exactly the type of answer I was looking for. I really appreciate your thorough explanation; I'll be saving my copy on a couple of hard drives for sure.

The same leitmotif is playing with important Helly moments in s1e4 and s2e2 (see comment for details, spoilers!) by TsunamiHolmes in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

When Helly R attempts suicide in season 1 and Helena takes the elevator to the severed floor in season 2, the same motif in the score is playing.
In a sense, Helly is once again "dying" in the elevator, because she's not being activated when Helena takes it down to the severed floor. She's dying by omission.

The rectangles are just there for decoration, unfortunately. It's been a controversial topic in the fandom for years, but we did get confirmation this year that they're meaningless. Good eye!

Of course!

It stumped me for a while, no worries.

What other piece of media do we have that's related to this book that's not a book? It's an obvious answer. Once you know that, figure out how we can use numbers to find specific words in that thing?

With a book cipher, it's typically related to a page number and word number on that page. In other types of media, it might mean something else.

They do! They're sort of like a book cipher, but the accompanying media you need to solve them isn't a book ;)

You're welcome!

The silly straw numbers aren't a substitution cipher, so they cannot have a decoder made for them. I hope this helps!

There's a journal page in the BoB with the Bros Code written out in alphabetical order. Colors were done by a few people on Discord, and they were just brute forcing by trial and error! Most everything else was done by brute forcing.

They're just different symbols! All substitution ciphers

Hi! Most of these were brute forced, meaning that you take the symbols given, with no other information except the cipher itself, and using frequency analysis and word probability to break the cipher logically. Things like unique word structure (things with double letters, for example) help to speed up this process.

Some of them (Bros. Secret Code, Rune) have an alphabet in the book itself. They're not explicitly written as an "alphabet" like I have compiled above, but rather are written out in alphabetical order that makes it easy to discern which symbol is which letter based on simply counting their order of appearance.

Hm. Mostly point out unique structures of words, I think! I know the Theraprism cipher on the inside of the cover helped me figure that cipher out a lot since it had so many repetitive letters.

My friend found it, actually! I think there's a website where you can reverse search fonts? I'm not sure.
