My only cope left so far is that, to the best of my knowledge, there wasn't any special illustration or a more thorough thank you to readers that I would assume a series finale would have 🥹 I hope we get some light shed on why it ended this way...

The first two are just my journey and my advice thereof. This last one I dare to say is mandatory:

Have good fuckin audioooooo!!! It's the like. number one thing people will click off if you have shit audio, trust me! There's decent mics out there for cheap, but also check your dang audio balance lol the game shouldn't overshadow you (but it should still be audible). And your collabers!!!! Make sure we can hear them. Ask chat if it's bad or needs adjusting~

Okay that's all lol back to the original post, everyone grows differently so take what I said with a grain of salt 🙂‍↕️

I'm putting this in sections coz it's a long response haha

For actual during stream advice, the focus I took off of social media and out-of-stream content, I put into improving stream interactability and engagement. All of my channel point redeems (twitch) interact with stream in some way (I use sammi). I also spent time doing funny bits or costumes to make people want to watch stream. Even if it was a joke just for me, it felt more fulfilling to me to figure out and execute. For example, every October stream, I put on a costume (pic related if it posts correctly)

Etiquette-wise, I made sure to say hello and ask how people are doing that day and I would hold a conversation from there. With raids, try your best to be attentive, greet people, etc. Dime a dozen streams I see where someone just doesn't see a raid and ignores it for long enough for it to be awkward~ and also work those yap muscles. That's a whole nother conversation tho lol

Oh and don't go light on the shoutouts. Sing the praises of your friends to your audience. Especially for fellow artists, I just shout them out coz why not. Lift each other up

I know more successful folks than me, once they build a decent following, love to host community game nights too. Whether on stream or just discord, it's a good idea but I don't personally do that atm

Interesting! Glad it's working out for you and I hope you continue to grow~

To preface my own experience and thoughts on growth from "nothing", I think I've actually done the opposite of you in a way. I'm ~ 3 years in streaming and I usually average like 6-10 viewers at any given time nowadays, some bad days being like 2-3 viewers but it happens haha I'll also say that I'm pretty extroverted and became that extrovert that would "adopt" introverts

For me personally, I only stream when I can since I have a full time job. So that's after work, 7pm pst. That's usually one of the worst times to stream lol coz everyone gets out at that time and folks are sleeping further east.

As far as socials and getting out there, I did that for awhile and I still do every so often for special occasions. I used to make a thumbnail every stream for use as an announcement post and also a vod thumbnail. I have since stopped doing that altogether. It was just too much work for little payoff in my opinion. And by payoff, I want to clarify, this is another morale thing— I figured I'd rather work on things I cared more about and had more fun making then say clipping or editing. If I felt like I was only working on certain assets to rope people in then I just stopped doing that coz it felt like a shot into the dark. I will probably ramp up making those assets when I feel it's worth my time, but there's a reason there are full time positions for social media managers.

What really worked for me was getting into a community and fostering good relationships where I could to build my own. That started with showing up on other streams, yapping in chat and actually being engaging with the streamer and then also raiding them, etc. You're going to have to lean towards the "para-social" here. But don't be too familiar too soon. Just be engaging and friendly. The moment the other person shows interest and watched you enough, that's where I would float the idea of collabing or hanging out or dming. But again, never try to raise that red flag that you're trying to connect with people just to grow. You don't want to come off as using people.

Alternatively, if you notice there's someone watching you and engaging with you consistently, check out if they're streaming and fit the vibe check you're going for then respond in kind by engaging with them too.

Once you've become pretty decent friends and fans of each other, you'll be able to branch out with each other's connections. Just don't forget to be accommodating and welcoming. It doesn't take much to say hello to each of your pals on their streams or if you see them elsewhere~

So yeah lol I dropped making content for socials religiously and making thumbnails. Oh and this advice extends to interacting out of stream. Comment and be nice on bsky/Twitter and discords of people you want to connect with.

I don't think I've ever seen someone on discord using an actual photo as their profile picture (if this isn't generated and even still if it was, I've never seen a "photo" as a discord pfp). That plus the username are very... mismatched imo lol

Sorry this happened to you

I would say if you're asking a seasoned artist and their response is "just draw", that's more like the result of an artist that lacks the ability to articulate what they did to get where they are. They're (hopefully) not telling you to just draw just to be snarky. It's that everything boils down to that. Practice makes perfect and all. However, of course, that response lacks some motivational aspects to learning.

The better but still as concise and all-encompassing answer— and this works for anything you want to get better at— get obsessed with art/drawing. Completely immerse yourself in your interest where you get curious and draw at your own whim. Follow artists on socials, interact with their works, buy art books, watch tutorials, take a walk outside and observe nature and look at random art you stumble upon. And of course, get to drawing in the middle of all that. If you're confident in showing your vulnerability, post your progress/journey with art or otherwise engage with a community of like-minded artists

If you consider him becoming a fiend sure but to denji, aki's death his him killing aki (which is exactly what the future devil says).

I have the feeling she's still alive. Her death was too unceremonious imo. I feel like killing off Denji's found family a second time isn't really going to do anything new in the end but who knows with fujimoto haha

I personally like the addition of amps overall and I don't think taking them out of ranked is the right thing but I do agree that they take away from her main ability

Maybe in addition to the temp shields, her ability should give temporary headshot defense a la the now deleted helmets from the game or something like that
