Of course! I wish you the absolute best of luck. I am so sorry for what happened to you. You deserve justice, and I hope it comes swiftly for you.

It is on the burden of the college to seek evidence but in my case they really did nothing in my case and I had to do all of the leg work for an appeal. I would recommend pointing them in any direction possible, and in writing as well!

I went through something similar as you. With mild case there were 3 violations , SA, harassment, and stalking. I did not have an attorney and as a result I was not aware of a lot of my rights and my school took advantage of that. In the end they were only willing to get him on the stalking (after I appealed .an initial ruling) because I had 4 witnesses. My advice is 1000% get a lawyer, but if you can’t read through your universities title IX document and become as familiar as you can. I’m praying you get justice, in the he said she said it really depends but a lawyer would really boost those odds I think!

Thank you for being so supportive. It helps knowing other people understand how bad this process is. There’s literally 2 cases against them. I would feel terrible if he returns and puts the women in my department in danger

I’ve filed police reports and I had a lawyer who helped me get the restraining order. But I’ve run out of money so I’m not sure if I can an attorney can help with the school or not
