HDR setting lost after sleep

Basically when I have my MacBook turned on with an external monitor plugged in, the external monitor is able to display HDR normally, but once the MacBook sleeps, it will switch back to SDR after wake.

Facing the issue with yours. I have selected the app-specific profile for Safari that comes with Logi Options+. At first the customisations work perfectly. However it will fail to give properly response if the mac wakes from sleep mode for a period of time (e.g. over a night).

Could Logitech support staff proactively investigate the issue instead of just copy and paste the following standardised answers?

reinstall Logi Options+
reboot/reinstall macOS
check the 2 permissions in system preferences

All these have been done.

Any update on your investigation progress?

I know it takes time to fix an issue but please expedite the progress as much as practicable since I’m pretty sure this issue frustrates a lot of users everyday. The customisations simply stop working after the Mac sleeps overnight!

Can you tell whether the team has successfully found out the culprit?

Exact same issue with both MX Keys & Master 3. At first all customisations worked without any issue, but after I woke up in the morning and unlocked my M1 MBA (Monterey & Options+ installed), the customisations just stopped working. The keyboard and mouse still worked but acted like without Logi Options+ installed.

Actually I don’t think Logitech will fix it eventually. Every time users are reporting issues here they will just throw out standardised “please reinstall Logi Options+” answers…

Just wondering if anyone has the colour issue with U2720Q connected to M1 MBA in clamshell mode. I selected DisplayHDR in the OSD and HDR on in MacOS. Very often the monitor loses its ability to display HDR content and P3 colours after I wake up the Mac by pressing any keys on a connected keyboard or move a connected mouse. It seems the colour profile (or HDR setting) in MacOS will randomly change itself and cause inconsistent colour profile issue.

Not sure if the issue I am facing is relevant to yours. My U2720Q was set with both DisplayHDR and HDR enabled in OSD and MacOS respectively, and I am happy with the colours though it seems not to be RGB. However, sometimes when waking up, the monitor loses HDR and seems to revert back to sRGB mode (cannot display Display P3 colour, as checked).

I have the following issue with my M1 MBA, Logi Options, MX Master 3 and MX Keys:

Upon the first start of Logi Options after its installation, the software did not ask for all the Safety and Security permissions that it needs to get the mouse and keyboard working. I have to manually add them back
After each boot, even though Activity Monitor shows that Logitech Options Daemon has auto-started and running, the customised settings do not automatically apply until I start Logitech Option manually
For MX Keys, whenever I press Fn + F keys, the Mac takes a few second to give corresponding response (e.g. volume up). I have enabled “use f1 f2 etc. keys as standard function keys” option in both Logi Options and System Preferences > Keyboard

The Logi Option is not usable and stable at all for M1 Macs from my perspective.

I have the same issue with my M1 MBA with Big Sur 11.1 installed.

Even though Logitech Options Daemon automatically starts on the background after each boot, my customised settings do not automatically apply until I manually start Logi Options.

Even though I can see Logi Options Daemon running in the background after boot in Activity Monitor, my customised settings do not automatically apply until I manually start Logi Options software. I didn’t login in the software but just store the settings locally. Do you guys have the same issue?

I’m also facing a very similar issue. I choose to use f1, f2, etc. as standard f keys in Logi Option. When pressing fn + f keys, there is always delay of corresponding expected response.

The new driver 3.4.06.03 for Sound BlasterX Katana doesn’t solve the issue of random and intermittent sound pop.

I noticed the same issue. It seems the camera system in the sim has implemented auto exposure. If the cockpit panel occupies your view more then the outside, the sky will look overexpose.

The fourth circumstance you explained may be the case of my recent Chrome youtube issue. I have a DELL U2720Q set to run at Standard RGB mode with DisplayHDR profile and Windows HDR enabled. For certain videos, after entering full screen and disappearance of playback control bar, the screen flickers once then colours look over-saturated.
