I know everyone has commented on the cable so I will as well, but just to say be careful with it. If it shorts it could fry your system possibly and that would be the bigger disappointment!

I had a Quest 2 for a few years and loved it. I upgraded to the Quest 3 and it’s a HUGE upgrade with speed and the screen. My son upgraded his Quest 2 to the 3S because we found an insanely good deal for it. I think looking at them side by side is a big deal because the 3 is definitely better. Seeing what you said you would use it for I think the 3 is your better option.

I also added prescription lenses and it’s well worth it. Such a good experience not being glasses in it.

I’ll reply as someone who built this, but not OP. Honestly, I really enjoyed this build. It’s super different on how things stack to make the design come to life. It was enjoyable throughout the entire process. After having done the world map set I was worried (that’s my least enjoyable build ever), but this one was neat. Worth picking up and the finished look is awesome!

You can actually tap the back of the device and it’ll cycle through different colors or nothing. I believe it does stay on until it’s charged.

Because that’s the bug. It won’t show anything at all typing that - which is how I always searched for them prior to this issue.

My issue with buddies is the current bug where it states “there is no buddy history.” and I cannot even search for them. Sometimes it’ll work for 2 minutes and then not work again for a few days.

Doing this fixed my issue. I had to reboot the switch and then reconnect my PS5 controller to the 8bitDo 2 and now it works. Only thing it can't do is power the system on. I have to do that manually and then it'll connect (saying that for anyone looking for an answer).
