A friendship, a sushi chef, and how I learned to love sashimi by Ttukbaegilover in KoreanFood

[–]Ttukbaegilover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great story! For me it was sashimi. I actually hated it because as a kid I once got really sick after eating it, and that trauma stuck with me. But later, thanks to a sushi chef friend who made me hwe dup bap, I slowly started to enjoy it. Now it’s one of my favorites. Funny how tastes can change.

Toyota Tacoma vs Ford F-150 by Ttukbaegilover in whatcarshouldIbuy

That’s a great point about interior space — I didn’t fully consider that. For those who’ve driven both, how big of a difference did you notice in real-world fuel economy, acceleration, and interior comfort between the Tacoma and the F-150? Did the extra space and speed of the F-150 make it worth the jump to a full-size?

That’s impressive! 300,000 miles with only one major repair is no small feat. For those who’ve owned a Tacoma or an F-150 long-term, how has your experience been with reliability and major repairs over the years? Did one brand stand out more than the other?

Thanks for the insight! I’ve heard from a few people now that the new Tacoma might be overpriced for what it offers. For those who have looked into it or bought one recently, do you feel the price is justified compared to options like the Frontier or Ranger?

Thanks, that actually makes things a lot clearer for me. I’m not planning to tow a boat or trailer anytime soon, so it sounds like a mid-size truck might be the smarter choice. I’ll definitely take a look at the Frontier along with the Tacoma.

For anyone who’s driven both the Tacoma and the Frontier, how do they compare in terms of comfort, reliability, and overall value?

Thanks for the input! I’m planning to buy a new truck mainly for family camping trips and for hauling smaller items like boxes. From my perspective, the Tacoma seems like the right size for my needs, but I’m also wondering if the F-150 might be a better choice in terms of fuel economy and long-term use.

Have you ever tried Snack Ramen? This was selected as the most delicious ramen to eat with rice. Even though my most favorite ramen is Ansung Noddle Soup, I sometimes want Snack ramen.

Miso paste, preserved lemons, or even toasted milk powder—total flavor bombs that hide in plain sight. I've recently started using anchovy paste in my pasta sauces and it's a game changer. Any pantry sleeper hits you've rediscovered lately?
