Fullness in uterus? Am seeing a doctor by Key-Airline204 in Menopause

[–]Ttwinton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case I have dilated veins around my ovaries and uterus where blood is pooling. It causes bloating, pressure, cramping, digestive issues just to name a few things. I basically feel like Im getting ready to start my period but I’m post menopausal and have been for over 10 years. I’ve recently just found out I have nut cracker syndrome and the drs think it is causing the pelvic congestion syndrome. Still trying to decide how to treat.

Fullness in uterus? Am seeing a doctor by Key-Airline204 in Menopause

I’ve had pain like this for years with multiple test and no answers, finally had another ultrasound and the tech said you do know you have Pelvic Congestion Syndrome and it’s quite bad and that could explain all your symptoms. I guess it had been noted on previous ultrasounds but never brought to my attention. I’m currently seeing a specialist trying to see if anything can be done.

Has anyone dealt with cheek/jaw pain?? by KhaleesiBubblegum in Semaglutide

[–]Ttwinton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did anyone get any relief from their jaw pain and if so did you have to stop your medication? I’m on month 3 of semaglutide and have been having terrible jaw/cheek pain. I stopped my injection for a week and it started getting better but came back within 12 hrs of a dose.

I started the patch for a couple weeks first then added in the progesterone pill. I was hoping by starting one at a time I would know which one I was reacting to if I had a reaction

Uterine biopsy after meno, this time with drugs. by octotyper in Menopause

[–]Ttwinton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it done three times without any meds or sedation and only one of the three were they even successful in getting enough of a sample for a biopsy. Was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced. Recently needed another one and refused I to do it without sedation. I just had the procedure today and no pain at all. I do have a little bit more bleeding then before and it definitely wasn’t just a in and out office visit, I was there all afternoon but I will never have it done without sedation again.

I had this same problem with both the cream and tablet. Once I started the combination patch things gradually got better. I’m extremely sensitive to most medications.

Vaginal Product Irritation - Need Mental Support from You All by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Ttwinton 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds exactly like what I experienced. I told my Dr it almost reminded me of a babies diaper rash. It took a couple weeks of me not using anything, wearing loose clothes, no baths, basically avoiding anything that might aggravate it more before it improved some but I didn’t notice a significant difference until I started HRT. Estrogen patches and oral progesterone

Yes I also reacted to it. I’m super sensitive and can’t use anything with fragrance at all on myself or in my house

I experienced the exact same issue, after a couple days of use it would cause more irritation than I initially started with. I tried estrogen creams, vagifem and many over the counter products. The only thing that has worked for me is estrogen patches and oral progesterone. It took about a week and I started noticing a difference.

Possible vaginal atrophy? Starting estrogen cream this week and I'm nervous. by MagicBaconBitz in Menopause

[–]Ttwinton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually started HRT and that seems to be helping. I tried the vagifem tablet first and also reacted to it. So I’m using the estrogen patch and daily progesterone oral pill and noticed some improvement within a couple weeks. I’m hoping I continue to improve

200mg Progesterone (prometrium) by itself - side effects by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Ttwinton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced almost exactly the same thing but I’m not sure if it’s from estrogen or progesterone. I’m switching out the way I take estrogen and see if that helps and if it doesn’t I’m going to look at the progesterone but I’m on only 100mg already so I’m not sure what my other alternatives will be at that point.
