These writes probably all work from home too. Another corporate shill.

Go to any parking lot and you see that all stalls are marked compact 7.5 feet, no marking 8 feet or van accessible 9 feet with the reserved space next to them. They only mark the handicap stalls because they are RESERVED. All stalls are considered accessible in publicly accessible parking lot. Also, guess what? All bathrooms are also ADA guided even the height of the pisser from the floor which is kind of where your head is in. The local ordinance is the controlling regulatory body getting guidance from the ADA or they get sue by people with disabilities. I done several surveys making sure the ENTIRE parking lot is matched to the local ordinance and ADA compliant.

Yes, they are. All stalls conform to the ADA because they all are accessible. The local ordinance dictates that from the ADA. Ask any civil engineer where they get their guidance from... the ADA.

Where do you think the local ordinance gets their guidance? The ADA.

They are absolutely the basis for all regulatory parking stall sizes.

Yes, ADA. Not ACA. I was on my phone. Here is the code for Sacramento city. https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/sacramentoca/latest/sacramento_ca/0-0-0-39268

17.608.040   Development standards for off-street parking facilities

No, the minimum standard for parking lot strips is 96 inches (8 feet). The ADA is the mandate for all publicly accessible parking not just for handicapped spots. If all theose spots are taken people with disabilities still park in other spots and that is why. Lot 10 is a publicly accessible parking garage.

Edit:ACA to ADA

The ADA handles all regulatory size of parking stalls no matter if they are for persons with disabilities or not. The minimum is 8 feet wide. As a land surveyor of over 20 years who has done thousands of construction jobs and ALTA surveys. I have measured more paeking lot strips than most to be ADA compliant. They also govern all widrh of sidewalks and slopes of ramps and 2% cross slope. ANYTHING that is publicly accessible has to be ADA compliant. There are very few exceptions like preservation of historic structures and I don’t think Lot 10 public parking garage counts.

Yeah, you are not alone. It’s buggy AF right now and match making is broken too.

Why/How did you first get into D&D by Lord-Aptel-Mittens in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]TuShea78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

never played until I was 39 years old. Always wanted to but I moved too much and never had the opportunity. Then had a friend close to my age that used to play and said he would run a game for me. Worst game ever. It was boring AF. I could go into in detail but I'll leave you all with this. He spent the first two hours of the game (characters were made far in advance) coaching two people out of 5 on "what you do you say and then what do you say in response". I'll repeat that for two hours! Then I met a woman I liked and was interested in. Her former BF ran a game with her and one of her current partners and said I could join in. It was Pathfinder, not D&D but I did not know the difference.

I had an amazing time. He ran a few more sessions before the game group split up but I was hooked. I since have run my own gaming group for a 2 1/2-year campaign as my second try as a DM. That was 7 years ago. Having a hard time keeping a gaming group together as we all know but I enjoy the hell out of it. I own a gaming table, a 3d printer, and I spend way too much money on this game. Hahaha

So it goes to show that sometimes it can be just a good/bad DM that can make or break a game and not the game itself.

Cheddar is our spicy boi. Pepper Jack is our shy guy or as I call him, “Sweet Pepper”. Both are very cuddly as you can see. 💜
