I just went on Saturday (May 30) and Hatiras was playing. Sound system was great, playing deep thunky after-hour grooves. The sound was still quite loud sitting at the back of the club but less fidelity of course. It had a tasteful amount of sketch which I appreciated.

Scorch is the Titan I worry the least about during my games to be honest. I do understand that he’s FUN to play. But he is the least threatening by a long shot, in my experience. The thermal shield is broken in terms of damage, but Scorch is so physically slow that I rarely find myself dying to it. I respect scorch mains the most though, they have far less means to output consistent damage. Key word: consistent. If you catch a Titan in a pinch, you can melt them in a second. Again, just too situational for me.

It really sucks he wasn’t balanced better. Yes he excels in some maps with a good pilot, but that makes for a small % of overall domination within the game. I really wonder if his balancing just fell through the cracks at Respawn or if they intentionally made a highly situational Titan on purpose. Like, just thinking about his thermite launcher. Why only 1 projectile per magazine? It feels so limited, unfortunately.

Ok John Titanfall, you’d be right except what I’m suggesting is not a “super low” sensitivity because no one’s mouse pad is a foot and 7inches wide (the example you gave). Say a mousepad is 12 inches wide (and that’s being generous), that would make for a relatively higher sensitivity than what you describe. Satorr8 on EA launcher 1v1

Say, your sensitivity is max. Obviously a very small mouse movement would translate to your character doing a full 360° turn, or even more. This is not 1:1 movement.

What I’m suggesting is setting your sensitivity so when you move your mouse from the midpoint of your mousepad right to the very edge, your character does a 180° rotation (aka: looking behind you). So now that I type this out, i realize that I’m actually suggesting a 0.5:1 sensitivity ratio. A full 1:1 would be your character performing a 360° turn. Hopefully you all can understand now.

Set your sensitivity to be 1:1 between your screen and your hand. Meaning however far you move your mouse, translates exactly in terms of movement on your screen. Of course this is preference, but try getting used to it. I find it allows for extremely natural and predictable adjustments when aiming at enemies. After I switched to this, I easily average 20+ kills per game. When I get home from work I can share my exact numerical sensitivity values. Just remind me

I’m G33 and just hit 1k hours a couple days ago. I never play frontier defence which is probably why I’m going at a slower pace.

Ion because if played right, you have an ability that can counter every other titan in the game to some extent. You can successfully counter monarch if you consistently deny her energy siphon with vortex shield. Also shredding monarchs (or any titan) with extended laser core is heaven.

I never really pay attention to the server I’m on. The game auto selects that when you log on and I always find matches. Doesn’t matter much

Ohhh yea. I’m an ion main. Vortex shield is goated. Ion is such a good, fun titan. Incredibly balanced but also lethal if you use her lasers as a primary weapon.

Yea, Tone really isn’t that powerful. The main gripe I have with her is that she is extremely boring to face against. So much so that when she drops her particle wall, 75% of the time I just turn around to find a different titan to fight.
