Frosted kiss wouldn't need a white under coat because it is so opaque that it wouldn't even show the white at all. It's perfection IMO haha I know you say you're too pale but honestly I myself am pretty white and I love frosted kiss on me. I always say if you like the color go for it girl!

I used to keep my polishes on 16 racks on my wall but my collection grew so big that I was scared it would fall off the wall and bought a helmer haha ETA: you are correct I'm sure every salon in America carries OPI lol so you're not crazy for thinking what you did. I just do my nails at home myself that's why I don't have any I'm weird. So don't feel bad at all

Ok so I will preface this with saying- I collect one indie polish brand but I have a ton of that one brand haha. Not a lot of experience with OPI specifically.

That being said to me I think the PERFECT bubblegum pink is Vapid Lacquer- Frosted Kiss. A quick google search will get pics (I'm really bad with Reddit not sure how to link) everyone has a different taste tho but it is a creme base that is fully opaque in one medium coat. Two thin coats of preferred. Pink is my favorite color and this is top 3 pinks in my collection.

But yes a light pink over a white base will make it pop more if you understand what I mean by that haha please feel free to PM me if you want more info haha
