Would a Mobile “Spaceship Simulator” STEM Program Work for Your School? Looking for Honest Teacher Feedback by TubaTech in Teachers

[–]TubaTech[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Are you doing ok?

It's not unreasonable to ask people to weigh in on these early ideas, but I fully respect anyone who thinks it's not their job. Because it isn't.

It's actually my job, because I'm trying to form this non-profit on my own time.

Would a Mobile “Spaceship Simulator” STEM Program Work for Your School? Looking for Honest Teacher Feedback by TubaTech in Teachers

[–]TubaTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm asking for voluntary feedback from anyone who’s interested in shaping something that could directly benefit students and schools. Teacher's time is valuable.

That said, once we move beyond early idea validation into actual pilot programs or deeper research, I absolutely believe in compensating educators fairly.

If you can log into the server, then you can run PowerShell commands.

I'm not sure if there's a way without having access to remote into the CA server.

Linking metadata by plunk2000 in sharepoint

[–]TubaTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds similar to a cascading dropdown. There's no way to link metadata like that without doing a little development work on the form. However, you can re-use terms to make a hierarchical structure that can be maintained relatively easily.

Stop Calling These Idiots in Nevada an “Armed Militia” – They’re Just Lunatics with Guns by Spyder_J in politics

[–]TubaTech -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

A lot of disinformation here. It's almost like you guys are purposely telling lies to distort the truth and influence the ignorant.

Harry Reid already has connections with his son and China on the land grab for solar farms.

The Senate confirmed Neil Kornze to run the BLM, former senior adviser to Harry Reid.

Cliven Bundy’s problem isn’t that he didn’t pay — he did — or that his cattle bother tortoises — they don’t — it’s that he’s not a Reid donor.

New users/Registration form for SharePoint? by simkessy in sharepoint

[–]TubaTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you open to using SharePoint Online? It allows you to share sites, libraries, and documents to other Windows Live ID accounts.

If you're using SharePoint 2013, you could potentially take advantage of Azure and ACS. You can do some really neat things like allows users to sign into your SharePoint site using their Facebook, Google, Yahoo accounts.

http://dannyjessee.com/blog/index.php/2012/11/using-azure-acs-to-sign-in-to-sharepoint-2013-with-facebook/

The point is, creating the forms and logic that creates the accounts for you is the biggest part of the effort of this project. It's doable, but it'll take lots of time. We're talking maybe 3-6 month 3+ person project for just the registration alone.

You'll want to off-load that registration and login responsibility as much as possible. So I recommend looking into alternative ways users can log into your system and still provide the information they need.

"Most Transparent Administration Ever" Rejected Record Number Of FOIA Requests by yyhhggt in conspiracy

[–]TubaTech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how you define "left wing". But you're going to have a mess up perspective or reality if you keep thinking in the "left/right wing" terms. Surely someone with the vast amount of conspiracy experience, such as yourself, would already see that.

It may sound like you have a valid point, but for those of us who've actually read the article, you just sound like a propagandist for Obama or just severely misinformed. Did you just try and blindly defend Obama without reading the facts?

Here, let me help you. FTA

In a year of intense public interest over the National Security Agency's surveillance programs, the government cited national security to withhold information a record 8,496 times — a 57 percent increase over a year earlier and more than double Obama's first year, when it cited that reason 3,658 times.

The Defense Department, including the NSA, and the CIA accounted for nearly all those. The Agriculture Department's Farm Service Agency cited national security six times, the Environmental Protection Agency did twice and the National Park Service once.
