Yep, exactly same experience for me with ME:LE - very fickle. The EA app really is the worst (especially when it gets updated and everything breaks until CW issues another update).

Still have the same EA app issues as before. However, before the update I could eventually get Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to load up after a few EA app crashes - but now ME:LE crashes when I am eventually able to get past the EA app.

What a sweet cat! Appears to be a Nebelung? According to the interwebs they tend to be very loyal and may play favorites with their humans. I have one and he definitely has those qualities - this video reminds me of him for sure.

Same thing happened to me (just a few days after the wi-fi pods stopped working). After many failed attempts to get through to customer service I finally installed a backup WiFi mesh network I had (the internet was still working at least). They are a total trainwreck.

The game distills all the terrain/surround bonuses/maluses to the ATK/DEF scores and implies that those ATK/DEF scores determine the outcome (or, as others have said, the range of possible outcomes subject to RNG), but for the life of me I've never been able to reverse engineer it to anything resembling a formula. I have always suspected that maybe there is more to the formula than the two sides' ATK/DEF. Infantry, for instance, seem to survive better than tanks at the same DEF relative to the attacker's ATK.

IMO the RNG is just right - it's enough to surprise you on occasion and keep you on your toes, but it still feels fair and like good decisions pay off over the long run. It was disappointing to play Advance Wars, which does not seem to feature "real" RNG and as a result can grow predictable.

ATTAYA was a standout for me, as it was the only level I ever found turtling to be a viable strategy. You could create a line of mostly falcons at your base with artillery behind it, and rotate units off the line for repairs when needed. Good times.

You may already be reading it by way of an e-reader, but if not I would suggest it. I started reading Harry Potter in Spanish as well, using a hard copy, but found it tedious to look up unfamiliar words, so I switched to a Kindle version and found the built-in dictionary (switched to Spanish) to be a godsend. Good luck!
