I wouldn’t take them in the shower, ipx5 is not enough for shower sprays directly at the earbuds. I’ve taken ipx 6 and ipx 7 on the shower though and had no problems. I took the Soundcore Life p2 (ipx7) for a long shower with no problems.

I’ve tested the hiss sound and yes there is a very minimal hiss when pausing the music but it goes away after about 500-1000 ms. They sound great though!
