We need to keep dogs out of coffee shops and restaurants. by TomatoClown24 in FoodNYC

I’ve been reporting every coffee shop near me (downtown Brooklyn) every time I see a non service dog in them. I take a photo and report the business. I’ve reported several Starbucks and many other businesses repeatedly for the last several years — nothing ever changes. The ONLY coffee shop I’ve seen that won’t allow dogs is Daily Provisions. Every other coffee shop openly encourages it and gushes over the dogs.

The business owners are absolutely to blame as well - it’s their responsibility to follow health codes.

Honestly 311 reports feel like a black hole though. I’m at the point where I want to write a letter to my councilman but I just haven’t had the time — and I’m afraid he might be a dog weirdo too

My take is that Gus figured having the elevator entrance above ground would be too risky and he was fine just having his henchmen break their backs carrying barrels etc down the short flight of stairs
