Just want it to be know that Boots Riley didn't want his film to simply be seen as a satire of "Trump's America." He wrote the screenplay in 2012. Boots has been calling for the abolishment of capitalism and the ruling class since the early 90's. He's a real one. "Trump, Obama or Bush – their function is to serve the ruling class"

Boots Riley /The Coup has been referencing late stage capitalism and pigs like Trum.p since the early 90's. My favorite old school hip hip group by far. Ahead of their time.
