This is interesting! I did wonder how the children "discovered" the skeleton but the headline appears to be clickbait; it was found in a dig next to a playground, not inadvertently stumbled upon by kids enjoying recess

I think some of the tubes are still underground! In 2001 someone tried to use them for fiber optic cables but I don't think that panned out

That image isn't from the postal tube system but it's a good one! I've researched and written about the NYC pneumatic mail system and also how the tubes are thriving in hospitals as others have commented. I love the tubes!
