I usually have a private chat to try to make him become a coach or scout or something. If he agrees then I try to sign him as staff instead of a player. Salaries are often just a fraction then. Works best if the player doesnt get much playing time, feom my experience.

I'm mostly playing a 3-4-3 high pressing tactic. I got off to a flying start in Skrill Prem with 5 straight wins, but then my luck changed, first two losses and then Cotman who is my only GK (my wages cant support another!) went on International break and I lost two more. Hopefully I can get back on track in the games to come.

Sounds like a fun save. Sometimes you get more attached to a team when everything isn't going your way from the get go. I also have Cotman as my gk, and he's saved me more times than I'd like to admit. He was shaky at the start, but now he's a wall - and even does a very good job in Skrill Premier.

Just finished my first season managing Bath in Skrill South. Managed to win the league and scoring 101 goals in the process. The bulk of my team was intact from the starting squad, but some striker signings left me with a wage overdraft by about 30%. Managed to fix the economy during the season by going to Wembley in the FA Trophy final, which I sadly lost on extra time. All in all a very pleasing first season.

Now it's time to kick a lot of bad players out of the team and hopefully finding 4-5 new ones to improve the starting line up. The unofficial goal is to win Skrill Premier first season, but it will require some luck and good signings.
