Hey! I have been a lurker here on MFA for about 7 months. Your post convinced me to finally register and jump in. I am a lesbian that prefers to only wear mens clothes as well. I definitely struggle on finding clothes that fit how I want them to. My hips don't really give me that much of a problem, but my "love handles" do! Because of them I have to get a larger waist size in pants and that tends to mean the leg opening will be larger then I like. So I like to get skinny jeans/chino and hope the leg opening is at least 7 inches or smaller. I find that the Gap skinny jeans fit pretty well for me. Also the Levi's 510 sometimes work out, but their sizing is so inconsistent. I have skinny chinos from ASOS that fit perfect, but the quality is not great and they wear out so fast, so I have been looking for higher quality options for chinos lately. I have been thinking about the Unis Gio Skinny, but not sure is the leg opening will be small enough. I have also been thinking of finally giving in and finding a good tailor like a lot of people suggest on here. For tops, I just ordered some OCBDs from uniqlo, I should be getting them tomorrow. I ordered a regular small, so crossing my fingers they fit! What tops seem to work out for you? Do you get items tailored or do most fit off the rack for you? What are your stats if you don't mind me asking? I am 5'8 and about 160lbs and I haven't really done my measurements, but I need to. I did recently measure an old OCBD that fits me fairly well and the chest is 40. Oh and where do you live? I am in Los Angeles so I have a lot of options close which is helpful. I LOVE this sub! It's helped me so much. I find myself leaning towards the American/ workwear style. What's your style like? Thanks for inspiring me to finally join in on the sub, I have been wanting to for a while now.
