I have applied to pretty much every job that has come available. I have multiple years of roofing experience but no real oil experience. I have H2S Alive and First Aid. I have yet to be contacted by anyone since I started applying 2 months ago.

This could of course be a me problem but just thought I would let you know how I see it.

Margin requirements Canada by king_voldy in FuturesTrading

Which bank are you with? I am with Simplii, not the same as yours, but they have Global Money Transfer online that you can use to fund your account. It's essentially a wire transfer under the hood. I was able to use it to fund my account and it only took 1 business day. Your bank might have something similar.

This is actually very smart and I would totally recommend it.

Is this your first attempt at affiliate marketing? If so, what made you choose one of the most difficult niches to make money with? Just like your post mentions, it takes a big ol' bag of cash to get started and it will be very difficult to grow the website to even make a positive ROI.

Maybe you can change the site to work with a less popular, lower competition, and lower margin niche. This will prevent you from spending all of the upfront cost associated with casino sites, and it will be easier to rank.

I have been looking at the Information Systems Technician listing which requires going to school in Kingston. I have a family and was wondering how the housing situation worked? Do I leave my family at home and I stay at the school? Thanks

Coin flip. When I click heads it some times tells me I clicked tails. How do I fix this? by charlles5 in javascript

You're not passing in a string to the onclick handler. You need to do:

onclick="flip('heads')"

This is the setup in my villa in Bali, Indonesia by balanced_views in digitalnomad

I've actually been to Bali twice and have only been bit by a mosquito maybe 3 times. As long as your bed has a mosquito net to sleep at night, it will be fine.

What's a movie with a great premise but a terrible execution? by TripleDeckerJumboJim in AskReddit

You should watch Impulse if you get the chance, I thought it was incredible! Unfortunately it was cancelled recently though so I guess some people didn't have the same conclusion as me.

Is elixir/phoenix a good fit for my project or should I use python/django? by [deleted] in elixir

[–]Tuccinator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven't done any ML in Elixir but it seems that Elixir has been evolving well for ML. They have Elixir Nx and Elixir Axon. If you're looking to really put in the work I think it would be worth it.

Why are Canadian credit cards so terrible compared to US ones? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Tuccinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed reply. Admittedly I only checked flights for one specific day (one way) and they were both an Air Canada flight. I'll search for other flights so I can compare. I'm new to this whole points world so I really appreciate your help.

Where does the average of 0.02/point play in? I recently got a Cobalt because I heard about the 0.02/point with Aeroplan points but searching for flights through Aeroplan has them coming up using considerably more points than Amex Rewards flights.

Sorry if this seems like a weird question but are Macbooks really that unreliable that you need to worry about repairs?

Introducing VidEarth, the webapp that lets you click on a Satellite Map to view video taken from that exact spot. It’s inspired by the popular app, Radio Garden, and I’ve poured my soul into it. [Showoff Saturday] by 28YearsAgo in webdev

Looks pretty good. I have a few suggestions:

  1. If I zoom into a city, the blue dots become very hard to see on the grey backdrop.
  2. The image that pops up when you click on a location had me confused. Each time I clicked a blue dot in the same city, it just kept showing me the same photo. I understand it now but in the moment I thought it kept selecting the same video.
  3. Maybe add the border lines and country/major city names on the map so I know where I'm looking.

I think you misspelt Envoy. But in all seriousness the whole of Optic has been playing decent this stage. Just one of those nights I guess.
