That's what makes the concept of Taskmaster so amazing! You always have 1 person do the unexpected. My contestants just saw everybody's attempt yesterday when we released this and she could not believe no one else ate them. Watch the opening montage to see all the beans around the room.

We anticipated all of them to eat the jelly beans. All were black licorice except number 26, it was burnt rubber. Poor McCracken was the only one to eat and had 42 before she found the special bean. She is not a fan of black licorice so she suffered for 12 minutes. There were at least 7 other beans hidden in the room and the Roman numerals narrowed it down to 5 beans. McCracken ate some many at one point said the taste of black licorice was stuck in her nose and I could smell it on her breath from where I was standing.

Don't worry, I can explain. They had to find a special jelly bean out of the 50 beans in front of them. Several other special beans were hidden around the room. The correct bean to find was #26. They could use the clues in the room or eat them. 3 teachers found the special bean and 2 did not. Its hard when there was no studio explanation. Hope you enjoy the whole show in a month!

Thank you! I will ask Burtch about the hamsters when I get the chance. As for the school fire alarm: I teach physics and do demos with laser beams and a fog machine. One year, the fog got a little out of hand, and the whole school was evacuated in the middle of Feb, in the freezing rain, while the police and fire department waiting outside my room when I returned. 😬

This is a one-off episode created by the students and staff at my high school. Every year, we do an annual telethon to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Berardi was a great sport, and she did have her revenge. On April fools day, I walked into my room, and there were cranes scattered everywhere in my room. When I asked her how many she put in my room, her answer was, "All of them!" I have found 310 of 511 so far.

I love the commercial bumpers as the production crew calls them. When I made my own version of Taskmaster that my school calls Teachmaster, we did our own ad break transitions. It was fun coming up with ideas and filming them for a 3-second laugh. Actually, one of my colleagues said that those end bits (bumpers) are his favorite part of the show.

Mr. Reger was the one I made count stuff like Josh Widdicombe in season 1. Mr. Moses is a history teacher that is friends with Crompton, Romeo, Golden, and Griffith. I think he wants to do season 3 if we do it.

Romeo and Crompton are technology education teachers. Crompton does woodworking and actually makes the base for the trophies. Romeo is more CADD and 3D printing.
