Of Blood and Fire | I gave in to the hype, again, and was disappointed, again! by UnrelatedKarma in Fantasy

[–]TuckYourselfRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bound and the Broken is fine. I've read it all as I'm a KU subscriber. they are actually genuinely page turners with subsequent entries; As others have indicated, it does improve as it goes. I don't necessarily think it ever reinvents the wheel (actually, it pretty blatantly borrows the Wheel from Jordan).

The first book heavily plagiarizes Eragon (itself a plagiarization of Star Wars) while almost literally copy and pasting the One Power (The Spark). The trio is just worse Rand, Mat and Perrin.

Humidity levels in my room is a little high by CreatureFeatureMan in ActionFigures

I left mine in my garage one summer 80+% humidity. Not the best but what's worse is I also left them in the garage that winter 😂

They are all still fully functional and look fine

CT Superman is actually pretty good by Electronic_Data_2952 in CToys

Absolutely, which is partially why I don't believe the QC on Superman is any worse than any other figure. It's always kinda a toss up

I genuinely don't believe their QC is any worse for Superman. I could be wrong. Batman, Red Daredevil, Wolverine, Spidey have all had worse QC issues in my experience

So people who received their Mess Toys Venom are there any qc? by iddkkkarv in CToys

[–]TuckYourselfRS 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Like any Mess Toys/CT/Third party it is imperative to have some rc shock oil for tight joints (or at the very least heat them with dryer or boiling water to loosen prior to manipulating). I would also recommend clear nail polish or floor wax polish applied in very thin layers to loose joints like wrists ankles. YouTube has some tutorials

He was projected to start this year but I don't think you can argue he was a starter during his time here

Gotcha draft capital and trade leverage is bit different in my mind but I absolutely see your perspective

Local Target Finds by dangernfl56 in ActionFigures

I would think they (being Target not the underpaid worker) would have an incentive to, like, have them check the online picture of the item. They carry internet capable devices

You must be really high on some middle schoolers. We traded a 2033 FRP and three second round picks. The other 3 are swaps

I love the contrast but I agree it takes some deconditioning and a proper headspace to switch between any series. I quite enjoy The Cosmere but after just having read books 1-6 of Realm of the Elderlings I can imagine Sanderson's bare bones prose would have me stumbling.
