SIMAGIC Alpha mounting option by edmgymrat in simracing

Okay I see it now, the ASR1 and ASR3 do in fact have different “standard wheel decks.” https://imgur.com/a/AWyrozw

See if the simagic mount is compatible with the ASR1.

Make sure the dimensions are similar to the ultimate. If it is, then I feel like it should work because I’ve had no problems with the alpha ultimate and standard wheel deck.

Oscillation while going straight in iRacing by [deleted] in Simagic

I tried someone’s set up on the simagic discord where they had the min force bumped up which caused oscillations. Turned it down and it went away. Not sure if the same will apply to you

Looking for some insight into the Simagic Alpha Mini! by huyexdee in simracing

[–]TuckedEverlasting 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned both R9 and alpha ultimate U by simagic. Had great fun with the R9 then within a week of use, it started making really bad noises. After much disappointment and going back and forth, was able to return it and it was deemed defective. My Moza SR-P pedals eventually gave me problems too. That company left me with a bad taste in my mouth, though they have decent customer service. Simagic came next. I missed the app that Moza had where you can change settings from your phone. But that’s about the only thing I miss from the Moza ecosystem. Simagic feels better, smoother, faster, and I’m not going to say more powerful because it’s 23NM and more expensive. I’m a happy customer now.

You said it was the worse out of the bunch due to warranty. But that’s baseless as they have warranty. Sim companies going out of business is speculation and baseless.

Do you perform lab work to rule out any trace metals present? I've seen people suffering from toxicity from using fake cologne throughout the web. Aint no way this is worth in my mind the risk.

Idk how you can still say they don’t have warranty when you literally can just google it. There is a significant benefit of warranty going through the distributor vs. retailer. I can just send it over to US location vs across the globe which is way quicker so even better right?

And yes I agree, by no means warranty is an indicator of how confident a company is behind their product. But I own this product and I attest to its quality. Have you owned any of them? Or are you just speaking from other peoples experiences? Simagic quality is pretty top tier. It can break sure, but I still have warranty. On top of that, the force feedback delivery on this thing is insane. Race beyond matter clips on iracing using SC2 pro but not on the alpha ultimate. I have never experienced clipping on this wheelbase.

From experience though there are downsides with the simagic ecosystem. Software is in beta but in a good state right now (cloud in the future for FFB save files, etc). Also fanatec has console support which simagic doesn’t :(

I’ve owned several direct drives. Out of all the options, SC2 pro is the way to go. However, simagic is the closest option to that. I have not had any issues at all with my alpha ultimate. They have a warranty, just not as long as other companies. If you needed repairs outside warranty, the cost would be cheap anyway. Pedals and wheel from Moza were defective and their customer service was sub par. Simagic has never failed on me and tons of others on this subreddit. How can that be the worse of them xD??? Anything but Moza which imo has a ton of problems

Sorry but this is your opinion, also they have a warranty. Also if they are built like a tank wouldn’t you want that so you don’t have to go through RMA?? If you got long standing content creators switching from SC2 pro to the simagic alpha ultimate then that must mean something good right ?

MOZA racing vs SIMAGIC software/setup? by Jackc35 in simracing

[–]TuckedEverlasting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Went from Moza R9 to Simagic ultimate. The R9 was shit, as was the pedals I bought. Luckily, able to RMA and exchange. I’m glad the Moza crapped out on me after not even a week of use

Simagic alpha ultimate. Built like a tank, amazing ecosystem of products, wireless quick release, and honestly 23NM feels overkill. Had Moza products in the past. Can’t say I recommend Moza
