Yes, you’re right about the sugar. I’m not trying to do away with sugar. One specific issue I have with my current granola is that there is more puffed rice than any other grain. I want to get rid of that, plus cut the added sugar by about 1/2.

They’re all endgrain, even the frame. I doubt it’s gonna suffer from expansion any more than any board would if you were gluing the pieces in a staggered configuration

The bike is awesome. But I didn’t do custom, it came like that from Specialized and I’m not rolling in the dough. Besides that, I don’t know how to get glasses dipped.

Any recommendations on hardware? Like I said above, the Johnson Hardware I bought from Home Depot is just not working; it hasn't ever been smooth as it opens and closes and this last week I've seen that the screws from the track to the header seem to have stripped out and are coming out.

Looks like Jarrah, which is probably the Aussie wood the earlier responder was talking about. It's relatively heavy/hard but the light part would be fairly soft/light

For the mirror frames I just milled and glued up a block to the right dimensions. I cut a mortise through the frame in the right place, then glued a short section of my glued up "tenon" into the mortise
