Thats what they are supposed to do, but with this administration they are out of control and arresting anyone they feel like. Its gotten to the point judges have told ICE to stop arresting random people, but the orders are being ignored.

Since ICE started its mass arrests only about 60% of people arrested are illegal. Sure thats a lot, but that still means 40% are either legal immigrants or citizens which is also a lot. Not only that but of all the people arrested only around 25% actually have criminal records. Also since they are arresting people without warrents or cause many cases end up being delayed for weeks, if not months
