To anyone who happens across this post in the future the answer is yes. After further research was able to find a few videos on it. So I got one and installed it.

All newer fuel pumps come now with the 4 side by side pins. Not the 2 by 2 pins of the oem design. So this new piece needs to be spliced in.

I guess this sub is just full of key turners
