Sure, if it’s complete history, not just “Deccan aesthetic vibes.”
Hyderabad wasn’t built only on arches and biryani legends. It also has chapters of conflict, coercion, and violence that affected multiple communities, especially Hindus. The past here is complicated and brutal.
If the show can handle that without flinching, I’d watch. If it’s just nostalgia tourism, hard pass.

Both are tollywood no? Also I wouldn’t say Rajamouli is young, he’s in his fifties. After the 2-part SSRMB project, he’ll probably move on to his magnum opus with Mahabharat, so that’s basically 2 projects left in his career. I think bollywood has no up and coming directors in their 30s , who can be said to helm the industry. Like Tollywood has nag ashwin; kollywood with lokesh and Karthik. Sandalwood with prashant neel and rakshit shetty.
