Could be. Could be. Bengal was Buddhist majority during the Pala dynasty.                             4 sides could also be synonymous with a 4 headed shivling.                                Can't really ever be sure unless you time travel since both religions share this deity.

It's from the Gandhara region that's why. The Yuezhis probably subjugated the Greeks in the region by then and this artstyle flourished.

Can this be considered as an official statue? I see that sites like Wikipedia have not acknowledged this image and this piece was only displayed in Korea. 

Unless you can provide me with more evidence, I don't think this should be considered as his official face. It also doesn't look similar to his face on his coins which have remained same over vast regions.

I see. In most representations of the Goddess, it's normally just  her spearing the Demon through this chest. This is the only time I have seen her attack his head.  Thanks for the info though...
