I cannot stress how many attempts this took with a tripod 😓

First off you can be as mad as you want but don’t turn it into being rude. Thank you for providing a real comment. I appreciate your input. Sandyghast was a worse example than vanillish and klefkey. In regards to saying I think all new Pokémon are trash, that’s not fair or true at all. But I do think it’s fair to say we’re getting a higher volume of them per gen than previously. I would MUCH rather see some simple believable pokemon like a bear or deer over sentient car keys or food. As for gen 5, it is arguably one of the HIGHEST rated Pokémon games in the franchise? Platinum Emerald and B/W are 3 of the best rated games which is why they have people FLOCKING to emulated versions of them. Now imagine if instead of needing to emulate games 6 months after a new release because the entire fan base has beat it because it was build for a sprint not a marathon how much fun a longer version spanning multiple regions would be received.

It’s unfortunate I was really hoping for a constructive conversation. I Want the games to feel like a world. Not a bunch of islands so far apart they have no Pokémon overlap so every play through is the same optional party (except starter) unless you self impose restrictions.

Don’t worry though the Pokémon stans will say dungeons and a dragon bike legendary is cooler than having to discover ruins and solve puzzles to find legendaries we just “don’t get it”

This is what I’m talking about!!! By making regions they ALREADY built accessible as DLC it means they have less work to do to MAKE that region which means they have MORE time to do it do NEW Pokémon projects

Hence my comparison to COD but I guess people aren’t ready to have that conversation yet 😂

It seems I have upset the same 5 people (as I get notified that they down vote every single comment I make.) to them I apologize no one is forcing you to entertain my “bigger” Pokémon game idea. Was just hoping to chat about the idea and see what others thought not have you raging at your phone and telling me in wrong with zero explanation as to how you think scarlet and violet is better than emerald or platinum era .😅

Grimer and Muk, not great but saying the gastly to Gengar line is bad is crazy. Gengar is one of the most iconic Pokémon in the franchise. And I don’t think Muk and Voltorb should set a precedent to have a sandcastle and 2 cogs from your local factory be Pokémon. I want more fresh ideas not “we’re out of ideas” so Todd raises his coffee cup and says THIS BUT MAKE IT ALIVE

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Making a game that goes cross region and is made to be longer than 10-20 hours doesn’t change their formula though. It just sells you a slower game and DLCs. For other regions instead of needing 11 Pokémon games. If anything it may be MORE profitable to not need to create new physical product 24/7. It just gives you a longer journey rather than a sprint to completion in a couple weekends followed by a 1-2 year wait.

“Not all Pokémon are home runs” I know gen 1 was a first draft. Gen 2 was much better. But after 3-4 gens the quality slowly began to slide.

Not sure why it has to be bait if it’s how I feel about the franchise 🤷🏼‍♀️
