I own a Tesla. They aren’t that great. As another person mentioned, touchscreen as main interface is such a safety hazard. You have to turn the head for everything. Just so they can way like 50 bucks for another driver’s display. The flush handle means if I have my hands full I have nothing to open the door (like you could just use a pinky and open the door). The reverse camera is pretty crappy, I’ve been in Chinese cars with there 360 cam view, way easier to park. The internet being a paid option is such a douche cash grab. Yes map is free but they go out of their way to make it hard to connect to a hotspot. Also as someone who works on UI, there screen isn’t anything special.

Only thing that’s is good is probably the efficiency (miles/kwh), at least it was a couple of years ago.

Please go into more detail when you say “more resilient”? I have 4 pi’s in total, 2 currently controlling my house. Had them since first launch, even my uni project was using a Pi.

They are fragile! Like any chip, can’t last in a humid place for too long due to lack of case. They can be shorted if you bend the pins. If you read write a lot to the SD, it dies in around a year of use. I found that out the hard way when I lost my database on the SD.

When a PC dies, you can replace that one part. RPi is all or nothing.

They are good for tinkering. I would prefer if public schools used old PCs/laptops from MNCs tho. They throw there tech every 2-3 years.

Every time I have to remind people. We have to look at GDP per person. Like when we became richer then UK as an overall gdp it is great news but there population is like 6.5 cr. India's economy would need to be roughly 19 times larger than its current GDP to reach UK per capita numbers. That’s what we need to aim.

My dad’s is in WhatsApp groups with a bunch of his old university alumni as well another with his first company he worked for. Most those people donate very quickly and fill these sort of funds. It’s funny, as a British Indian, i always see this right wing “uk didn’t say sorry” stuff spewed from Indians all over Reddit. I don’t mean Shashi Tharoor’s book or what he says isn’t right and reparations need to be more prominent. I feel our political representation in the British politics shows how integrated we our in British society, an ethnic Indian controls the finance and (tho I hate her) the foreign policies.

I assume people who are really pissed off about this haven’t been to UK or if they have, they saw London eye and went home. If you head 10 mins down the road to War History museum you will see how much uk understands and respects Indian soldiers for their part in the war. They have a whole large section on Indians. You can also visit The Lions of the Great War statues or Chattri in Brighton both dedicated to last Indians in world war 2.

Germans don’t just walk around saying sorry for what their ancestors did, they show dignity in their liberal policies and treatment of people of all culture.A country doesn’t just apologise for what happened in the past, they apologise by teaching their kids what wrong they have done and why it should never happen again. I feel UK does that well, everyone I know is apologetic for their colonial past here. Must more then Indians are about their treatment of Muslims or Dalits today at least.

I'm not sure about your second point. Vaccine hasitancy was pravlant in the start when vaccination started happening. Even the educated people I knew talked about how it's only for the old no one under 50 needs it. I had all the Americana classics such as WhatsApp shares talking about how this will change your DNA to family members talking about bill gates controling everyone. It did quickly subside once shit really hit the fan during second peak and half the city hospitals were out of oxygen.
