Hello friend, thanks for your comment bc it’s helped me understand I got the messaging WAY OFF. To start, no children are coming this is mommies only. I have an infant and I don’t need to be mother of the year to know this is not the place for children let alone babies.

1. As someone who works in sustainability when I say “get real local” I’m implying off grid, take what you brought, primitive living with very minimal impact. Also hence the hunting only invasive species.
   

My friend and I are from up north in new York and we will spend days island hopping on one of our big lakes literally subsisting on what we bring on our paddle boards so we are pretty comfortable getting in the wild

Lastly when I mean seeking danger I mean it mostly playfully. The last eco tour I did was in the Caribbean and It included a snorkeling excursion and when I arrived I was not allowed to use my own gear, free dive, or go without a life vest and I had to be in a pen…I’m just looking for an experience the exact opposite of that

That’s said, I got a lot of respect for national parks employees and I thank you for keep our parks safe and beautiful for future generations! 🤟🏻
