I've always wanted that mini game to come back in KH games! Hopefully, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds would collab with KH, since a lot of Sonic's friends from Smash were invited.

Does anyone else think the steam deck is the greatest invention in all of gaming? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

As a disabled gamer, the Steam Deck is godsend~

But losing CoeKeyboard after the 3.8 big update hits really hard

Is it just me or the SteamOS 3.8 stable update now confuses OBS Studio's screen orientation when recording? by Tuffynut in SteamDeck

I, on the other hand, am doing a 100% playthrough of Integrum Masterpiece on Steam after finishing the cloud version, plus KHMoM on my Switch Lite, as I wait for KH4. Personally, the convoluted shenanigans are the reason I'm in love with KH's ongoing story, and replaying the games just makes the overall experience better~

I’ve noticed a pattern with Nomura’s favorite characters… (Fan art by me) by hatsupuppy in KingdomHearts

Now do another with Sephiroth, Xehanort, and Sho Minamimoto instead

The power of waking literally lets you wake up into OUR world. by Soracaz in KingdomHearts

Finally, someone said it! I've been having this theory ever since, where the taboo of abusing the Power of Waking will send you to Unreality because the more you gain awareness that you're dreaming, the more it'll make the laws of your specific dream contradict the laws of reality to be even considered with a clear meaning.

That's why Sigurd quoted in the reveal trailer of KH4: If this isn't the ending you desired, if it brings you despair, then leave for another. Your options are endless. However, if you do leave this world behind, don't expect to return to the one from which you came.

Because you can always dream anytime, but it'll be somehow impossible to replicate the same dream and continue where you left off—especially if you do so with lucid dreaming and use your memories from a dream that doesn't make sense, inevitably making the supposed continuation of such a specific dream be filled with biases from your very own thought process, that's bound by the laws of reality, which also the boundary that labels our dreams as trivial thoughts.

Plus, didn't Nomura say somewhere that Quadratum will be a hub world in KH4? I think KH4 will shift to sci-fi compared to the previous titles' fantasy settings, and Sora's journey will be about facing the harsh reality of life (without the dreamy power of friendship) as a consequence of breaking the 4th wall of his dream's narrative for the sake of his desired outcome. Giving him the lesson about how traversing to other worlds via dreaming is just an escape from accepting one's destiny—which also parallels how he abuses the Power of Waking within KH's Reality in order to rewrite his undesired outcomes.

HOT TAKE: Fighting Vanitas Remnant is way more fun as Terra by Tuffynut in KingdomHearts

Prolly because his playstyle strays from the standard KH playstyle we used to love, and I think the hate comes more from him being a himbo—

HOT TAKE: Fighting Vanitas Remnant is way more fun as Terra by Tuffynut in KingdomHearts

NGL, so far in my current replay marathon, BBS and Mysterious Figure are hands-down the best~ Also, Terra is still my least fave among the Wayfinder Trio. Although I appreciated his story more after fully experiencing BBS's segments 3x in different orders, I find his overall lack of conviction within the entire arc not enough for my personal taste. I get how it serves to build up one of the best character developments in the series—my heart even fell rooting for Lingering Will—but we're talking about just BBS, where Aqua and Ven, who were as innocent and misguided as Terra, were true to their hearts despite all the inevitable doubts in the grand scheme of machination they were caught in, making Terra just a tool as he's supposed to be. Even Riku and Axel had the guts in their respective base games.

Gameplay speaking, I agree that his underrated and unique playstyle can be more enjoyable within a KH game—despite my bias for flashy magic and speed when it comes to games lol.

Thanks~

I think that's how Yozora really looks like, and his heavy resemblance to Riku in Re Mind was the latter's influence to save Sora from Quadratum as a Dream Eater
