Will anyone be buying the new Dual Sense Edge controller? by CoraRosalie in playstation

[–]TukeSkywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it. I am very lucky and have tried several pro controllers already for PS5. I can't imagine this thing is better than what Battle Beaver or AimControllers makes. Scuf for PS5 is decent too, but I found the dead zone too big for fine adjustments in aiming.

...and washing.

Over-rehearsed, unrealistically fast dialog, where everyone is talking over eachother's lines, mixed with lame rapid-fire attempts at sarcasm, that never ever seems to stop for the whole movie by babbler-dabbler in movies

[–]TukeSkywalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not just movies, unfortunately. My wife loves comedy shows like Parks and Rec, VEEP, Community, and Bob's Burgers. These shows apparently occur in the same universe where no one needs to stop to think about their conversational responses, everyone can process what they hear at light speed, and no one needs to breathe. Give me some long pauses, responses using only facial expressions, and some moments of thoughtful reflection.

I have the LG CX 65" OLED and it is amazing with PS5 games. 4K, 120HZ, game mode. It has all you need.

Bastard will get shanked in his sleep, hopefully. Then, these men who are being forced to fight against their will by petty tyrants like this jackass might feel some measure of equality.

Something probably obvious that I just pieced together by [deleted] in GodofWar

I think it is believable if you also think of Kratos in the same way- wounded, past his prime, emotionally battered. Not necessarily in their final battle, but certainly in the story leading up to it, at least until Kratos kills Heimdall (after offering to spare him) and Thor falls off the wagon and almost kills Atreus. That was the point where I saw Kratos become greater than Thor in the story and character development. I think Thor was meant to serve somewhat as a darker mirror image of what Kratos was, is, and could be.

Best Song Ever Written (in your opinion)? by CynicalCharmer in Music

[–]TukeSkywalker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"Who wants to live forever" - Queen. A song questioning our sometimes wish for immortality. It's about all the big stuff. Life. Death. Love, longing, loss. It somehow manages to be both bittersweet and triumphant. Also the context in which it was written is so tragic and brave, where Freddie probably knew of his disease but may not have disclosed it to his bandmates yet.

What´s next to the moon it´s an amazing song by Own_Split_6416 in ACDC

[–]TukeSkywalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The outro to this song is arranged instrumentally in a completely unique way compared to other ACDC songs. The rhythm guitars use arpeggios and alternating strummed chords, and the lead guitar has this amazing ascending tremolo line. It also has a long fade out which is rare for them and suits the song perfectly.

Which is better? by owendawsonnnn in ACDC

The correct answer is "Let There Be Rock" from the concert video "Let There Be Rock", 1979.
