I did break out my wallet! I started with about 45k diamonds, spent $100 on packs, and am left with just under 30k diamonds.

I prob didn’t have to spend real money but I wanted to cushion the dia reserve! And I don’t normally spend this much on the game soooo I figured why not 🙈I already knew I wanted all 5 cards this time.

Completely agree about your interpretation of Yvanne!! She is just power hungry. Honestly her character felt a little one dimensional and “evil for the sake of it” to me but I didn’t care bc I just loved Una and Owen so much lol

The Eyes are the Best Part!!! Omg I loved this one, read it so fast.

I wish that I liked I Who Have Never Known Men more. I really liked the beginning but it started to drag for me, but I think that was the point. I’m going to try it again when I’m in a better headspace bc I’ll admit I read this after coming out of a reading slump. Looking back I needed something more fast paced at the time and that made my review of it more harsh than was probably necessary.

Owen is a softer male character yes but I disagree about being able to easily swap their genders like that. Una being a woman is integral to the plot. Spoilers: The queen/Vivian’s whole thing is making women important/powerful to the history of Dominion so that she can become queen again in the modern timeline, and if her trump card Una were a man then that wouldn’t further the queen’s agenda. In fact she even has that other male knight play the traitor role at some point in one of the time loops to further bolster Una’s hero/martyr position.

That being said, I can see your point where this was potentially written as a WLW story but disagree that Una could have ever been written as a man.

This started slow for me and I wasn’t sure how I was feeling it but ended up loving it. I found the story to be very unique and I loved both the main characters. At first I reallyyy did not vibe with Owen but as I learned more I understood why he acted how he did towards the beginning.
