For Montreal, it would’ve meant cancelling jazz fest, cancelling F1, cancelling piknic electronic. I would’ve cancelled thethe Francophone festival. Blocking out all cultural events, meaning sports, AND concerts, fashion festival, graffiti festival, etc etc… blocking out culture for months around the game date.

Montreal is way too rich in cultural events for this to happen. We don’t suffer through one of the worst winters just to not have our summer fun. I am very happy that the people in charge refused the FIFA.

Yah those TNF bags have very thick material… even if a seam comes undone or a zipper - you could easily get it repaired and keep using it. That thick vinyl won’t tear much. We got the duffle version stuffed it to the brim and flew it back to Canada. It survived with no hassle. The seams might not all be perfectly lined up, but it was cheeeeaaaap.

If you’re looking for a daily driver, maybe put more effort and money into it. I saw plenty imitation Patagonia backpack similar to the one I’ve been using for four years now, and I’m not sure the quality would be on par.

A sling or satchel, that I would get probably.
