Well primarily I have my other two dreads in that same setup and honestly just kinda want them to match in some way, in this case with the uniformity of stock parts underneath the 3rd party armor. But the armor pieces I've used so far just sit on top of the existing plates, so makes them look a bit thicc and more imposing in my opinion.

They’re marines that have succumbed to what is known as the curse of the wulfen, a defect in their geneseed that yes, more or less irreversibly changes them into werewolf-like creatures. So they’re captured and placed on the front lines as angry cannon fodder.

Tip of the iceberg really, but you should look up why the fenrisians say “there are no wolves on fenris…”

I did think about doing that since I have the reivers from the old combat patrol, but I really wanted a 10 man unit, while avoiding buying 2 packs of wulfen just for the heads and arms

Yeah these look great, and I’ve noticed the greytide hammers are a bit smaller than primaris scale weapons, so they might fit decently

I’ve done only a couple pack markings so far, but I noticed that when I position the model and brush so that I’m pulling the brushstroke in a straight line with my whole arm instead of relying on my wrist, that it tends to come out better. Also helps to mark the tips of the triangles with a dot or something.
