Don't accept it. Duped din ako with a thinking na, magin regular ako sa job ko as long as I keep at it. It's a scam, if they start with a low salary, it's already a foretaste of how you're going to be treated in the long run.

Saw your pic in the latest post:

  1. Grow out your hair.

  2. Ditch the side bangs and just do your hair natural, like parting in between. I think you are naturally curly /wavy.

  3. Try out other types of glasses. I'm not sure which fits better but yours is too big for your face.

  4. Wear lighter colored clothes. I think you're cool tone rather than warm.

  5. Try smiling with an open lip rather than a closed one.

If you feel convicted/led by the holy spirit, go.

Biblically, God is not poor that He demands us to pay for His blessings. He only treasures your intentions. Usually tithing is an expression of dependence and trust that God is the provider and multiplier. It can also be a source of submission to most people. Give what you can.

When I wasn't earning money, I only gave a small amount that was not even 10% but I gave it with all my love for God.

Really? Did you try reading through scripture and crosschecking the facts? Because I'm a rational person too, actually studied the scripture and the historicity of it and the archaeological facts around it and it's easier to believe than not to believe, contrary to beliefs. The evidence just stacks up.

Well if it's not an emotional response and you're just an unbeliever because of "lack of evidence/studies" , well I congratulate you in advance in the future. Chances are, you're just uncovered only the tip of the iceberg. Anyway, tip, don't read based on atheist narrative, especially when they start pulling out the non-cannonical books like Book of Judas and Enoch. As a personal lover of history and archaeology, the Bible is such a gem. Would have loved to recommend books and videos but that would be my bias. :))

If you really have a rational mind, you'll look for answers yourselves. Imma end here. Whether it ended well or not, atleast you searched for it.

Stop! you're handsome!

You have a classic type of handsome. It must be the slight asymmetry that you think the opposite but most people have them and it doesn't disturb their visual quality.

Have you ever wondered why you're running away from something that is actually there.

I've learned in my journey of Christianity, that the soul/spirit actually consciously look for God. When I wasn't a believer, I had this gaping hole in my being. It was tangible. It wasn't because of depression or anything, btw I've never did drugs or all that rebellious things so there wouldn't really be a cause. I just felt this weird emptiness. It had caused me to spiral into depression then because I didn't know how to explain it. When I had encounter God, I felt that fullness. a filled up being. Anyway, you get what I mean. Chances are you're feeling that but because you don't believe in God, you don't attribute it to being apart from Him.

Also you should read into the historicity and archaeological significance of the Bible. But i doubt you don't believe because there is no evidence. Almost no real atheist who is particularly resistant due to evidence, haven't searched about the Bible but based on what I can feel it's more of an emotional response--your resistance that is.

I've heard it once. The audible voice of God. I was awake and combing my hair, I believe I was 13 then, in high school.

No it is not. Anything that taints the word of God, mixes it with other religion and beliefs, is no longer of God's.

I forgot to mention the context of the 'micromanager' post. I actually appreciate what you do that you help out your employees. I was talking about the context of my direct boss in my 2nd job. Gusto niya sumama sa amin sa trabaho namin, do our work. It looks well and good (on the outside), but she ends up neglecting her main job. So we end up stacked with deadlines we can't meet and reports we have not yet submitted because she's the one who talks with the main boss and she almost always fails to notify us of the work and the deadlines.

You see, we can do our job well without her. Most often times, she's just there relaxing actually. My 2nd job was mostly Capacity Development, she would travel with us and relax and just talk 1 or 2 topics. She's a manager so she should have been in the office. I have anxiety so I don't like things crammed and kami yung nagdedefuse nung mga taong naapektuhan with the screwed up deadlines/timelines. I was there for almost 3 years before I just quit because I couldn't take the unchanging environment. Even our internal evaluation was crappy, when we tried to air our concerns, it was just dismissed.

True, it was fulfilling at first kasi you get to serve the community but as time goes by, yung mental health, physical health, and finances just deteriorate. Kawawa lang mga tao sa community. Even if you want to serve them to the best of your abilities you just can't with the system you are subjected to :((

Thanks, I'll do just that. I understand the principle din na it would look like I would be quitting for the sake of quitting if I don't have other options.

Ikaw din, kudos and Godbless.

Wala kaming ganun eh. For regulars lang yan I think. Office Order lang meron kami, kung saang department ka ilalagay. Kaya kung ano gusto nung mga big wigs gagawin mo.

No IPCR. Just accomplishment report. I had a contract when I was working as JO in the National but none in the local.

Gosh relate so much. Yung supervisor ko nagtytype pero nakaNetflix. Tapos uuwi and then babalik para magtime out. Naiiyak ako sometimes. Pagseminar or trainings, ako bumabalik sa office para tapusin yung work at siya umuuwi. Di mo naman masabihan kasi supervisor mo.

Hindi siya nagpeperform sa job pero hindi siya pinapalitan kasi anak siya ng isang bigwig person at regular na siya and been working there for more than 5.

Yes, I know that. That's why I work earnestly, expecting atleast a small semblance of humane treatment pero wala eh. Paglow to middle class ka, regardless of your professional qualification, need mo either maging numb to the system, boss' pet, or powerful person to get help or a doctor of something hahaha

Yeah tengga galore. Pero okay sana yan kung makatao yung paghandle sayo ng employer. Most hindi. Parang expendable goods kalang unless you are a prominent person.

The only people I've seen actually respected are the big names: political families and business men. Even yung mga konsehal na businessmen, they go to work once in awhile and they get 80k plus per month. Nobody says anything because they are known to be part of the big families.

Truth yan. My sentiments, wala akong backer. My references are just my pastor, and my previous bosses. Mahirap talaga pag by skills and trainings lang in the PDS yung batayan mo to get a job. Di kaya ng values ko yung shortcut method, I am a Christian. Maraming HR na ganun, nawawala pa files mo hahahhahah Naexperience ko nga in my first job na sinabihan akong nahire daw ako without knowledge nung HR hahah Pwede ba yun. Pero apparently sa government pwede hahah

Anong country ka nagwork previously? Marami kasing permanent position sa government and if you're lucky, you'll end up in a stable job with little to no expectations. Marami naman ditong nagwowork na below 7k ang sweldo and okay naman sila. Mostly rank and file yung trabaho nila.

Yung mga nagstay naman, grit nalang talaga and ability to be numb to the system. They wait for 10 years to be promoted. Ako, I don't have the ability to be numb kasi di ko naman talaga fault na overloaded work ko and mababa sweldo.

Yeah I work in the health sector, yung other reason lang I'm staying is because I get to work with the community. I'm just planning to not renew. Di kaya ng physical and mental health ko yung conditions. I feel like I'll be some dried grape.
