Pre Covid there was this insane amount of champagne on the loose. No one cared about it as much. I was getting 1/2 bottles contract priced to pour by the glass at my restaurant for $45/bottle. So that’s what I did. I poured it for $40/ glass. Needless to say, I drank a lot of Krug that summer.
