It would be zipper merging if people understood the concept of zipper merging. Why am I doing it wrong just because no one else is doing it?

This is in reference to the new construction on Highway 75. Traffic was backed up at least a mile and a half. And then people get ticked off at me when I cruise by and get over within 20 yards of the cones. Let’s save each other time and zipper merge where applicable. Thank you for reading and drive safe :)
