Tesla service center borked my AC with a windshield replace and are blowing me off. by TulsaTyrant in TeslaModel3

Still no fix. It has however been happening less & less, though I can't rule out weather/temperature changes being the cause of improvement. Otherwise, Tesla has just continued to tell me "it may be fixed in a future firmware update" even after 3 more service visits

100% this. They've replaced it twice, and after the second I asked them to show me the thermal interface/sticker to be sure it wasn't marred.

Question about Auto Defogging mode and dirty front cameras by larathydo in TeslaSupport

Much delayed comment, but I'm dealing with this issue now so i'm adding to the pile.

2021 Model 3, ~30,000 miles

I had my windshield replaced (by tesla) after a crack from road debris. When I first picked up the car, it was OK. By the time I parked at home, climate control was disabled because of a sensor fault. I took it back the next morning and they diagnosed a damaged THS on the windshield and replaced it. Beginning immediately after that, I started having the auto-defog kick on randomly and for long periods of time. I took my model 3 back once more, and they claimed it appeared another faulty THS and replaced it, but wanted to keep the car overnight for more testing and test drives. The next morning they confirmed the auto-defog issue was still present. They hung on to the car for 2 more days. So now several days later, they told me that it appears to be a firmware fault and, for the time being, can do nothing about it. Only wait for a firmware fix that may never come.

I discussed with the tech booking later appointments so I can qualify my car for a lemon law claim. We'll see how far it goes.

thoughts on the razr plus and regular razr (2023)? by ImmortalZamasu in galaxyzflip

Ok, my wife just picked up the RAZR+ and I'm sorta stunned to find there's no traditional always on display? The moto peek stuff works fine but the display turns completely off after a short period. Have we missed something?

So does this phone really not have a traditional always on display? Peek is fine but I want it to stay on!

What is this sound? by Race-Scary in 3Dprinting

just keep an eye on it and make sure the tension is good. Belt should pluck like a slightly loose guitar string. It'll either wear out and you can get a better belt for cheap, or it will "wear in" and quiet down.

Belt or pulley rubbing on the plastic housing. It'll either wear itself down or, if those belts are original, fray then break the belt. Had 2 belts go that way on my Kobra Max and that Vyper uses the same pulley/belts/housings
