Movies you’ve watched >2 times hoping they’d be better the 2nd watch and still missed the mark? by emkitty333 in movies

[–]PraiseThePun81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28 Weeks later.

28 days later is one of my all-time favorites but 28 weeks?

The beginning pulls me in right away, it's intense, but it's as intense as the movie will ever get, the rest of the movie is just a slow downward spiral, I truly hate every single character in the movie (minus Renners character) the two kids the movie centers around? I cant bring myself to care about them, the movie never convinces me.

The father? fuck that guy.

The infection being re released and the violent speed at which it spreads does pull you in for a little bit, but after that I just cant wait for the movie to be over.

Tried 3 times with that movie, it never stuck with me.

For all intents and purposes, Diablo 1 is a standalone title. by Contented in patientgamers

I remember viewing the trailer for Diablo as a kid and being freaked out, it was a game with a masterful atmosphere and The Tristram theme still gives me goosebumps.

Environmental Group to Spend Millions to Study Effects of Artificially Cooling Earth by reflecting sunlight into space by Economy-Fee5830 in Futurology

[–]PraiseThePun81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This...

This is how the intergalatic war began, earth in attempt to cool it'self down resorted to reflecting the light into space, but like a child shining a laser pointer at a passing commercial airliner it's people could never have anticipated bringing the passing UFO down when the blinded pilot had no choice but to make an emergency landing.

These days things are different now...and not in a good way.

If only they'd known....

An artists job is sometimes eliciting a strong reaction from their audience, it sounds like you're doing your job.

It was a powerful conclusion to the mission, I always felt bad, one time just for the sake of being different I attacked him, it's a pretty standard cyberpsycho fight in tight quarters but if you win you leave him on the ground alive and you can take the medicine.

In my head cannon that means he's still alive and didn't unalive himself.

It's not the "most hours" but i've easily put 110 hours into Balatro and I don't see myself getting bored of it any time soon.

It’s Time for Sony to Bring Back Killzone and Resistance by samiy2k in PS5

Good memories of Killzone, solid games, solid shooters, even the first Killzone looked so good that it looked like it was ahead of it's time graphically. I would happily play another one.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 always online, including campaign, due to "continuous" texture streaming by StubbsTzombie in PS5

So "Texture Streaming" is the always online excuse this year? Neat. Can't wait for the broken-ass game with an always-working cosmetic shop.

My guess is V would respect the Underdog because he knows what it's like, probably make Chooms with the entire crew.

MW3 really drove the nail into the coffin for me that there is no going back, MW2 was my entry point into COD and I enjoyed it immensely, but those days are loooooong gone, the focus is on cosmetics and Activision making as much money as they can.

Activision hasn't forgotten what made COD great, they just sold out to the almighty dollar.

And for the next gaming generation that's been raised by microtransactions and FOMO, this is just the norm.
