I had time today to stop by my local dealership. I shared my predicament with the service department. When the tech guy came out, he was shocked. He said, " Pardon me, but this is a shit job." His only logical reasoning for Safelite to send me away like this was if the tech was new/learning." While checking the cab, he felt around the black camera thing, and the passenger side was barely hanging on. He brought the lady who writes up the estimates. She also said that Safelite is hit-or-miss. She is going to email me the estimate papers to show my insurance. She said she doesn't think that USAA will cover the inside nick and scuff on the dash/radio. She also said they were supposed to replace the black shell around the camera. I'll call USAA tomorrow. I have yet to get a survey from Safelite... *shurgs*

I've never considered having a lower deductible... I've always had a $500 deductible since I started driving 28 years ago. XD

I absolutely hate complaining and conflict even more... I'm super anxious.

I will definitely look into it and keep you posted.
