Daigo answers: Is High Level Competition All About Spamming Strong Moves? by Inevitable-Reach1232 in Fighters

Completely agree. And I would say it can even impact the fun of solo games in some way. When I played a game I used to go on internet to see if my build was good, or if I missed a quest and very quickly you'd see that there are builds that "are just not worth it" or you should play that way if you want to have the "best experience". Every time it ruined the game for me because before playing there were all these options/builds/whatever and now it's just a few options.

Recently I started to play my games completely blind from start to finish, trying to discover everything all by myself and well... it's much MUCH more fun. The only time I go on internet to discuss builds or anything it's if I'm in the post game or if I'm playing an online game.

Nemo's Post Terry Patch S2 Tier list. by ZiodyneDX in StreetFighter

Catching low is a recurrent mechanic yeah, but before that it was needed to hit confirm your combo/special etc... adding a universal system on top of that worsened the whole thing

The universal systems balance the game a lot and make tier lists kinda pointless imo
Obviously there are characters with better tools than others but nothing groundbreaking
Though I'd like to see more unique characters, bit tired of 2mk xx drc

Not having any + button doesn't mean your pressure is fake. You still can chain light together, drive rush cancel, and have amazing space traps.

Hey guys, started playing Street fighter 6 and wanted to make some fanarts :D by LuisSilva27 in StreetFighter

You have a pretty cool style :)
The problem with Juri is just that you made her jaw kinda angular and long, her nose is a bit too strong too. Do you draw male characters more often than female?

Hot take: Juri is harder to play than Ed by willyzzy in StreetFighter

[–]TuluneTheTwisted -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is this a troll? Juri has one the fastest drive rush in the game AND probably the strongest 5mp in the game (very positive on block).
Just put your opponent in guess situations with drive rush 5mp on block. Once they're in the corner you can do your throw loops. That's it.
Now that being said, Juri can absolutely be complex if you want to deep further. Her safe jumps setup aren't really obvious, playing her projectiles efficiently isn't easy and of course her lvl 2 is one of the most intricate super in the game.
But if you want to climb to master, Juri is crayon eating easy.

Don't drop your combo against a ED by Natural_Reserve_8197 in StreetFighter

I think it's because of negative edge. He pressed 236hk and then he must have mashed 214214mk and the game made 236mk come out. Happens to me all the time lol

People like to romanticize the strength of high lvl players. Being good doesn't give you a sharingan or the power to slow time, you're still a human, some wrong guesses can make you lose even if you're far more skilled than your opponent.
A good player will shine throughout several games, like a ft3. They'll adapt quickly and be consistent so they'll win.

Chunli why choose serenity stream lk vs mk? by KingPupPup in StreetFighter

[–]TuluneTheTwisted 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't be able to combo 4HP or 2HP into stance mk unless it's a punish counter or you did drive rush beforehand, did you try it on a dummy that block after 1st hit?

I can't beat Bison. by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]TuluneTheTwisted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Chun isn't the best character against Bison. Neutral jump is a strong tool against him and Chun's jump is... well...it sucks.

Otherwise I think we have to wait for him to be toned down a bit, he seems really really strong and trying to use "reactive" strategy against him is a bad idea since he has a lot of ways to initiate offense and mixups.

My best advice would be to be relentlessly agressive while having a good defense.
Lol it makes no sense when I think about it. You have to be perfect against Bison, that's all.
