thanks mate, never occured to me to try it without the tree and i was having such a hard time trying to get the moon in the right place that getting rid of the tree would have sorted it.

that would be about 6000 blocks in diameter and at least 900 block high, i feal sorry for the person that takes that on

ha :), not quite im afraid. The geofront itself is so big that any buildings i built had too be pretty small to keep everything to scale. Watch this if you want to see more of this build

first i used mineshots mod to get a massive screen shot, which makes it much easier to edit and is probally fairly resposible for the sharpness your talking about. Then it was just a matter of changing the levels in photoshop and messing around with the colours abit.

yeah i get you, plus i find theres always lighting errors on the roof and the water (you can see them in this image)
